Past few days in Pictures!

The whole group, all 9 of us, and Madeline (our on-site coordinator)
at Picos de Europa.

The nine :) Such a fun group :)

13.4 Euros = $18 U.S.
CRAZY!

Huelga means "Strike." That day there was hardly any buses
running. In Santander the strike wasn't as noticeable as it
was in other major cities of Spain. On las noticias or "the news"
in Madrid and Valencia etc. there were riots and police beating
people. It got pretty violent in other cities, thankfully we were here!

I brought P.B. cuz nobody eats it here.
and then bought OREOS!! MMMM!

So this is Erika and I at the beach. When we looked back at the
picture we saw Isma in the background making the google eyes!

We found some stylish pants here :) LOVE THEM! jaja

Dogs say ¡Guau! not ¡WOOF!

Heladeria= ice cream shop. "La Polar"
is, so far, the best in Santander :)
Been there quite a few times!
How WEIRD!

We found some stairs in the town of Potes, it was a cute little town.

Have you ever seen Ham flavored Ruffles?
yea, me neither. jaja

Dating back to the 8th century this monastery,
Santo Toribio de Liébana has housed a part of the Lignum
Crucis (Holy Cross). Toribio brought the piece of the cross
measuring 63cm in lengthand 39cm in width from Jerusalem
in the 5th century. The part of this cross a the bottom is
where you can touch the cross where Jesus Christ was
crucified. Wow.

Behind me is the cable car
that we took to the top
of the mountain!

Jesika and I at Picos de Europa!

Erika, Jesika, and Marissa jajajaja

This islike the cable car that we took to
the top of the mountain.
